That last play is arguably the greatest play in college football history. Down 13-0 at halftime, Alabama head coach Nick Saban benches his starting QB, who had a 26-2 record and was a former SEC Player of the Year, in favor of a true freshman who had never started a game, and that QB then proceeds to tie the game and send it to overtime. Then, in overtime on a 2nd and 26, he hits future Heisman Trophy winner Devonta Smith on a 42 yard pass for a game winning TD on the last play of the game to win the national title. You cannot add more drama or excitement to a game. It is a play many like me will never forget.
Watson to Renfrow always gives me chills
🙂
Hahahha
Tua ❄️
Nick saban has been dominating 5 national titles could be 6 come Monday
lol its funny watching 73 considering bama claims that title when they didn't really win it
Miami was robbed
Nothing from Zeke in 2014 huh
Nice
Don’t forget about Michael Dyer’s run in the 2010 national championship against Oregon
Definitely not pass interference. Straight bull
Texas vs USC will forever be a classic
Amazing how many of these greatest championship games involve Alabama. Alabama usually wins national titles in such a dominating fashion (1979, 1992, 2009, 2011, and 2012 were all wins by 2+ TDs). It's nice to see the titles won in close games (1978 , 2015, and 2017) and even those lost in close games (1973 and 2016).
Why no Cam Newton and Auburn? The single greatest year by a QB n team ever
To bad Georgia hasn't made a run
2010 was the best year
I love the the Florida gators highlights
Come on Texas sux ever one knows that
OSU vs Alabama no question 3rd string QB, Zeke goes for over 200 yds in 3 consecutive games avg over 10/yd carry
🤘hook em
The last one gives me chills every time
Where’s “the run” by tommie Frazier
Incomplete list. All the way from the Miami/Penn State game of the 80s, to the FSU/UF game in the 90s.
FSU vs Auburn 2013
You realize how Alabama is in like every other one 😂 roll tide baby
That Ohio State game was pathetic lmao. Pass Interference come on man haha.
